A project I worked on with Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL), Sensor Suitcase, just won the 2020 Federal Laboratory Consortium Award for Excellence in Technology Transfer.

The hardware part of Sensor Suitcase was exactly that: a suitcase full of sensors meant to help a small group with minimal training do some basic analysis of their building’s energy performance.

I was hired by LBNL’s Jessica Granderson to create the desktop application portion of the project. This desktop app allowed users to analyze data gathered by the sensors and stored in raw data files by the tablet.
